The New Home of Prescott Metal
During the month of August, Prescott Metal quietly moved into our new home at 18 Morin Street, Biddeford, Maine. This move was started two years ago, when John Grondin, our President and CEO had the vision to purchase the original building located in the Biddeford Industrial Park, the same Industrial Park that his father, Conrad Grondin was the driving force in developing. This 67,000 sq. ft. building had fallen into a state of disrepair over its 50 plus year history, but with the vision and drive of our owner, is once again a proud manufacturing building.
Prescott Metal is truly one of New England’s premier metal fabrication shops, and next month our other division, Engineered Automation of Maine (EAM) will join our ranks in the new facility. The joining of the two divisions will create and foster a true manufacturing powerhouse.
While we are extremely proud of our new facility, we are very quick to point out that it’s not the building that makes a company, not even the new metal fabrication equipment within its walls. What we are most proud of is the group of dedicated craftsman, engineers, programmers, sales people and office staff that make a company. We are a group of employees that carry out our mission of doing business with precision, honesty and integrity which has been the true vision of our owner.
If you desire to say your product was made in America, and perhaps more importantly, made in Maine, give us a call or come for a visit. We look forward to earning your business.
